- After the mall was looted and burned, SME were appointed as Mechanical Engineers on contract (Fire, Wet services and HVAC)

Central chiller replacement

- Replaced the central chiller for the hotel and conference areas
- Refurbished the Air handling units, including controls and actuating valves.
Mill Chiller Upgrade

- Supply design and retrofit fan filtration units to office buildings in the papermill plant with Chemical filtration.
- The 380kW air handling unit rigging access was a challenge. SME designed the air handling unit to be delivered in six sections and assembled the unit on site.
Wine Cellar
Property Development
- Design, manufacture, supply and install.
- The client uses the room as a Cigar room, but also to keep high-value wines and champagnes at a set temperature.
- The design challenge was to maintain the room at a set temperature and add the correct amount of makeup air to extract the air.
- This allowed the client to smoke cigars in the room without the smoke accumulating in the space.
